Match abandoned at half time. Referee Criag Langton was left with no choice but to abandon this game at half time after a torrential thirty minute downpour during the first half flooded the Don Valley pitch making it virtually impossible for either side to pass the ball. Parramore had taken the lead on twelve minutes as Gavin Davis volleyed Craig Mawhood’s low cross home from close range. Dean Rick equalised from the penalty spot on thirty seven minutes after Simon Ellison had been brought down inside the area. We now move to Saturday 14th May (noon kick off) when this fixture will be replayed at the Don Valley Stadium by which stage Blidworth will be hoping to have the title sewn up. To do that they have to win their next four games before travelling to Parramore for their final league fixture.
